Public and Private University Preparatory Courses
There is not only a difference between the universities for public courses, but also between public and private courses. Public universities don’t levy a semester fee and their certificates are approved in whole Germany. Compared to them, private courses cost a lot of money and it is important to know if they actually provide an accepted assessment test in the end of the course.
What types of university preparatory courses are there?
The following preparatory courses are offered:
♦ T-course – Mathematics and Natural Sciences, technical degrees
♦ M-course – degree in Medicine, Biology and Pharmacy
♦ W-course – degree in Economics, Social science
♦ G-course – Humanities and German studies
♦ S-course – Language degrees
Some universities of applied sciences and technical universities offer the following preparatory courses:
TI-Kurs: technical and engineering degrees
WW-Kurs: degree in Economics
GD-Kurs: degree in Design and Arts
SW-Kurs: degree in Social Science and Humanities
